2-1-1 is a telephone number available in Maine statewide 24/7/365. It is answered by real people who can help you in locating a variety of resources closest to your location and calling 2-1-1 is confidential.
Support groups in Maine ranging from support groups for chronic diseases and mental health concerns to groups for persons who have survived traumatic events. If you know someone who could use some resources for support and encouragement, please call 2-1-1 and speak to one of our specially trained Call Specialists. If you or someone you know needs Mental Health Services or resources to assist with Substance Abuse recovery, please call 2-1-1 because we have more than a thousand resources to help in our database. Please note that all resources may not be available in all areas of the state. If you call us and there are no resources, please call us back because our database is updated frequently.
