Attention all recovering women, allies, leaders and collaborating agencies…announcing: The Maine Recovering Women’s Leadership Facilitators’ Training Coming to Portland in September 2014 Would you like to be part of a: The Maine Recovering Women’s Leadership Training (RWLT) is an empowerment workshop for recovering women. Learn to facilitate the training workshops in your community! Women recovering from any or all of the following are welcome: alcohol, drug or other substance problems, women who are survivors of trauma, women dealing with mental health issues. Sessions are scheduled for two full days on each of the dates below. Meals are provided. This training is free to women in recovery. Space limited, so please register by September 16th. Saturday, September 27th 9am – 5pm Sunday, September 28th 9am – 5pm Both Days will be located at: Portland Recovery Community Center, 468 Forest Ave., Portland Maine, The Recovering Women’s Leadership Training is sponsored by Maine Alliance for Addiction and Recovery (MAAR), supported by AdCare Educational Institute of Maine Inc., and funded in part by SAMHSA’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance (BRSS TACS).
